It feels kind of strange to type “2015”, and FrostFit is less than a week away! We are back to regular hours this week, with the exception of the last class this Friday, which will be cancelled so that we can have our volunteer meeting and set up for FrostFit. If you are judging or volunteering for FrostFit, you’ll be getting some additional information about when you’ll be needed this week. We’ll also be posting updates about our sponsors, the workouts, and the weekend schedule over the coming week on the FrostFit blog.
This week will be another week of mostly skill work and conditioning, in preparation for FrostFit. If you are competing, try to make it in a couple of times earlier in the week, and consider coming in with your partner for a partner WOD on Wednesday. Then, take Thursday and Friday off completely or just come in to work on mobility. We will also post some suggestions and recommendations for competitors on the daily workouts starting on Monday, though you should be able to train normally on Monday and Tuesday.
Monday: Mostly lower body, barbell complex
Tuesday: Mostly upper body, gymnastics focus
Wednesday: Skills and conditioning
Thursday: Mostly lower body, squat focus
Friday: Mostly Upper Body, horizontal pushing and pulling focus
Saturday: FrostFit – no classes
Sunday: FrostFit – no classes
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of next week: We’ll be doing some of the FrostFit workouts
