CrossFit Winnipeg is issuing a challenge: for 6 weeks, we challenge you to eat clean, real, paleo foods, train hard, and get your sleep on track in order to improve your health, fitness, performance, and of course, look better naked!  We will have a blog set up just for this occasion, and we will post articles, tips, recipes and bonus challenges on a daily basis.  This is also where you will be expected to log your foods and your points for the challenge. A new addition to the challenge this year will be a benchmark workout to be done before and after the challenge so that you can track performance better.  This will be announced next week.

The CrossFit Winnipeg Spring Leaning Challenge starts with a nutrition & lifestyle seminar on Saturday April 12th at 12:00 noon!  You can choose from any of the following options and we’ll have registration links up for you in the next few days.

1) Bronze Challenge “Get on track” – Free – includes points checklist and daily tips and challenges.  Winners based on point system, and before and after benchmark workout results. Prizes include CFW swag.

2) Silver Challenge “All In Challenge” – $30 – includes points checklist and daily tips and challenges, before and after photos, and waist and hip measurements. Winners based on photos, waist measurements, benchmark workout results, and testimonials. Prize is half of the Silver Challenge cash pot and some CFW swag.

3) Gold Challenge “No Holds Barred Challenge” –  $100  – includes points checklist and daily tips and challenges, before and after photos, waist and hip measurements and full bodyfat % based on 12 site skinfold measurements. Winners based on photos, circumference and skinfold measurements, benchmark workout results, and testimonials. Prize is half of the Gold Challenge cash pot and CFW swag.

For the Silver and Gold challenges, you will need to come by the gym to get your photos and measurements taken between Wednesday, April 9th and and Sunday, April 13th, there will be sign up sheets at the gym at reception.   Note that weight loss will not be taken into account and photos will not be posted without your permission.

All participants will receive this scoresheet to log their efforts, which will be handed in at the end of the challenge. Each day we will post a bonus point challenge on the blog and you will be asked to log your food intake and total points for the day on this blog.  You must log your foods and points by 5PM the following day to earn the points.  Our first day logging points will be Monday, April 14th, and we will post our  first daily bonus challenge on Sunday evening.  The Challenge will wrap up on May 25th.
