CFW is excited to announce that we will be holding an Olympic weightlifting workshop taught by Christine Girard, Canada’s Bronze Medal Winner in the 2012 London Olympics.

Christine’s career in the sport of Olympic weightlifting started early by completing her first weightlifting competition at the age of 12. She is a triple medalist at the Commonwealth Games (Gold in 2010, Silver in 2006 and Bronze at the clean and jerk in 2002), placed 2nd at the 2009 Pan-American Weightlifting Championships and 4th at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Christine also currently holds records for snatch and total in the 63kg category of the Pan-American Games and Commonwealth Games. She also holds all Canadian records in the 63kg category.

We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to have Christine Girard come to CFW!
